We install it for you
You need a Cloudflare account on its Workers Paid plan, and your domain has to use Cloudflare for its DNS. During the install you create one API token from a ready-made template, so Castio can deploy there. You pick your address, like meet.yourfirm.com.

Upload your logo, set your colors and invite your hosts by email. Clients, students or members join from the browser, with no account and no app.

What Cloudflare costs
Castio runs in your own Cloudflare account, so Cloudflare bills you, not us. You need its Workers Paid plan, from $5 a month.
Meetings run on Cloudflare's RealtimeKit. Cloudflare includes 10,000 free meeting minutes a month, counted for each person in a call, then charges $0.002 a minute for each person. People on audio only have a separate allowance: another 10,000 free minutes a month, then $0.0005 a minute. Count everyone in each call, hosts and clients: a one-hour call between you and a client is 120 participant minutes.
Take a 10-person team holding five one-hour meetings a week, four people in each. That's 5 × 60 minutes × 4 people = 1,200 participant minutes a week, or 5,200 a month (× 52 weeks ÷ 12 months). That's inside the 10,000 free minutes, so the meetings cost $0, plus $5 for Workers Paid: about $5 a month in total, not per person. The team's size doesn't change it; only the meetings do.
Recording counts each meeting once, not each person in it: 5 meetings × 60 minutes = 300 recorded minutes a week, or 1,300 a month (× 52 weeks ÷ 12 months). The first 100 recorded minutes a month are free, so recording every meeting adds 1,200 minutes × $0.01 = $12.00: about $17 a month in total.
Past those free minutes, recording costs $0.01 a minute while a meeting records ($0.003 for audio only). Recordings are saved for 7 days by default; turn on one setting and they're kept in your own Cloudflare storage until you delete them. That storage is Cloudflare R2: the first 10 GB a month are free, then $0.015 per GB a month.
Cloudflare's meeting service is free while it's in beta. After that, Cloudflare's published plan includes 10,000 free meeting minutes a month, which is what this example uses. Cloudflare sets these prices and can change them.

If you stop paying
If you don't pay the next year's invoice, the install-and-update service ends at the end of your paid year. Then updates and direct support end, and your install keeps running on the version it has, in your own Cloudflare account.
Who supports you
If we install it, support comes from the people who built it. Email hello@castio.app, and a person writes back. If you install it yourself, direct support isn't included.
New versions come as an Update Now button, and if a version fails its health check, your install tries to roll it back on its own.
What Castio can touch in your account
The account is yours. Castio runs in it, and your meeting records live there, not on our servers. Recordings are saved for 7 days by default; turn on one setting and they're kept in your own Cloudflare storage until you delete them.
During the install you create a Cloudflare API token so Castio can deploy there. Our install app keeps a copy, encrypted. By default it reaches every Cloudflare account and domain the person creating it can reach, unless they narrow it.
We also keep your install's sign-in signing key, encrypted. Whoever held it could sign in to your install as any user.
Your install checks for updates once an hour. It sends invitation and password-reset emails through our email provider. And it sends us error reports, plus performance data from about 1 in 10 requests. A setting that turns off error reports and performance data is coming to every install. Our privacy policy says what each one carries.
My domain isn't on Cloudflare
Your domain has to use Cloudflare for its DNS: that's where the install sets up your address, like meet.yourfirm.com. If your domain's DNS is with someone else, like GoDaddy or Squarespace, tell us where it is now when a person emails you about the install.
